Juniper essential oil (Juniper)
Juniper essential oil is made from the wood of Juniperus communis (Cupressaceae) by distillation. Juniper essential oil has an intense fragrance, the scent of pine needles.
Juniper essential oils are used in the manufacture of cosmetic products. Juniper essential oil has antiseptic properties and is used in deodorants.
Where the essential oil can be used:
Aromatic bath: Since essential oils are insoluble in water, before pouring into the bath, you need to dissolve 10-30 drops of essential oil in a glass of milk, kefir, yogurt or cream or a tablespoon of vegetable oil, a little honey.
Cream or milk: Mix 10-15 drops of essential oil with 1 tablespoon of cream or milk.
Hand cream or lotion: 3 drops of essential oil mixed with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
After shave: 40 drops of essential oil mixed with 120 ml of apple cider vinegar or alcohol in 80 ml of distilled water.
Massage: 10-15 drops of Siberian fir essential oil mixed with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Hair shampoo : add 2 drops of essential oil to a bottle of shampoo.
Sauna : add 15 drops to 10 liters of warm water (urinate with a sauna broom)
Aromalamps: 4-5 drops 5 square meters in a space. Can be used every day.
Inhalation: add 2-3 drops to 1 litre of hot water.
According to Regulation (EC) No.1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council 2009. Provisions on cosmetic products identifying allergens:
Juniper essential oil containing citronellol, geraniol, limonene.
